Dr. Julie Lucas is a 1992 graduate of Colorado State University. She completed a 1-year internship at the Illinois Equine Hospital and Clinic. Dr. Lucas pursued her surgical interests by completion of a 3-year surgical residency at the University of Pennsylvania's New Bolton Center. Dr. Lucas is Board certified in equine surgery and was in private practice for 5 years in Illinois. Her interests includes lameness evaluation of all breeds, including gaited horses, soft tissue surgery, anthroscopy, and shock wave therapy. |

After graduation he completed a 1-year internship at Arizona Equine Medical and Surgical Center in Gilbert, Arizona, followed by a 3-year surgical residency and master's degree program at Colorado State University. His interest includes lameness, particularly western performance horses, arthroscopic, and laparoscopic surgery. |

She completed a 1 year internship in large animal medicine and surgery at Washington State University, followed by a 3 year residency in equine internal medicine at North Carolina State University. Her interests include all aspects of internal medicine, neonatology, cardiology, sports medicine, and diagnostic imaging. |

![]() | Dr. Michelle Dejanovich is a 2008 graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and attended Texas A&M University School of Veterinary Medicine during her clinical year. She received a B.S. degree in Animal Science from California Polytechnic University in San Luis Obispo. Her main interests are internal medicine and ambulatory work. Personnel interests include kayaking, hiking and boating. |

![]() | Dr. Kelly Giunta is a 2008 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. Before attending veterinary school she earned a M.S. in genetics from Thomas Jefferson University and a B.A in genetics from Rutgers University. She was born and raised in southern New Jersey. Her medical interests include sports medicine, internal medicine, and reproduction. Her personal interests include skiing, scuba diving, horseback riding, and reading. |

Dr. Phillips grew up in Fairbanks Alaska, and then attended Arizona State University where she completed BS in Biology, BS in psychology and a minor in philosophy. Medical interests include neurology and diagnostic imaging. Personal interests include downhill skiing, SCUBA diving, camping and spending time with her three horses Bijoux, Jethro and Fevellino. |
